While performing an aerial stunt, Hawke and Santini crash a stunt bi-plane into a small ranch hut, due to inproper preparations made by the ground crews, and in doing so, injuring Hawke's right arm and Santini's neck and back, temporarily disabling themselves from any physical activities. At the hospital, Marella visits them and informs them of Archangel's imprisonment in an East German Castle Fortress by Karl Kruger, one of his old political enemies, while he was about to rescue an old female friend of his. In order to rescue Archangel, Hawke has to train Caitlin the basics and advances of Santini's co-pilot position in Airwolf, but not all is easy, when she nearly kills them both. Spreeing Santini from the hospital without authorization, they begin flying under radar suppression to East Germany, and avoiding the aerial border patrol. After negotiating with Archangel's friend, Maria, they both infiltrate the castle while Santini and Caitlin take out the castle's heavy defences. Successfully rescuing Archangel, but abandoning Maria after Kruger shoots her, the team return ''Mister White'' to F.I.R.M. headquarters where he attempts to kill Zeus, the head of The Commitee, and half of it's executives.
