Below are the 12 links to Airwolf's 1st Season episodes which commenced with the 90-minute ''Pilot'' which initially was meant to be a Saturday Night 2-Hour Special CBS TV Movie, which was broadcasted for the first time on 22nd January 1984 and ending on 14th April 1984 with the season's ''Finale'' episode, ''To Snare A Wolf'', making the show's 1st Season a half-season, rather than a full 22-24 episode season which would of meant bringing the show's feature-length ''Pilot'' episode to a more earlier ''Premiere'' date somewhere during the Autumn (in the U.S., the ''Fall'' ) of 1983.

The 1st Season, to many fans, is the most popular out of all 4 televised seasons, simply because it had everything which Creator & Executive Producer Donald P. Bellisario foresighted into his new creation, with the political problems of the Cold War, the feuds between several governmental countries, the high-octane and sometimes explicit action & violence, and the whole atmospheric conditions of one of the most well-known wars, that shattered many people's lifes in both the United States and the Soviet Union.

All 11 scripts written, before production of this season was cancelled by both CBS and MCA/Universal Television made the series an instant hit, as they contained some of the most adult storylines that were ever shown on national and international television. It boasted some unforgettable dialogues, aerial action sequences and memorable characters, especially the likes of "Stringfellow Hawke" .

The extremely high production values however were definetely something else, introducing a new era to the world of television as many viewers knew it back in the mid-Eighties. The superb aerial photography and the aerial sequences that were staged and performed put alot of Hollywood motion pictures to shame, and special effects & stunts attracted a high degree of attention, especially in the season's ''Finale'' episode ''To Snare A Wolf'' which received a well-deserved award in the Guiness Book of Records - 1984 , the awesome editing of the airborne action also increased the entertainment levels, and then there was that world-wide famous main theme, cleverly written and composed by Sylvester Levay , who was for this season only, backed up by the lovely Munich Philharmonic Orchestra .

The world now had a new type of both human and mechanical heroes & a new type of television-making, all of this fell under one simple name: AIRWOLF

On all pages, you will find brand new episode synopsis', original CBS (U.S.), ITV (UK) and Bravo (UK) broadcasting airdates, complete cast & crew lists, trivia findings, both already known and some very interesting unknown, noticable and hidden bloopers, and very sharp and high-quality screenshots.
